Encouragement is given to everyone to spend free time as creatively as possible and to use personal initiative.  Being within easy reach of Poole and Bournemouth we are often able to enjoy concerts, plays and opera performances, all of which supplement our own cultural life. Contact with the local community of West Moors is extremely important as only by this means can true integration into the wider community take place.  Many of our people have formed friendships with local individuals and shopkeepers, and they are warmly welcomed during their shopping trips to West Moors. Over the last few years we have fostered a link with nearby colleges and our people have benefited from attending various day time courses. .
